How do you rate the programs on television?

Nielsen ratings are based on the sample (one of about 5,000 households). Prefer install devices that determine what the whole world watching? companies pay billions in advertising to people watching thought Nielsen ratings that determine when, in fact, most people (like me) feel that occurs today is garbage. Many ads, including horrible! Even with cable, still receive junk and see! 5000 samples May of 5000 households ignorant! Your comments … answers … and people, please, I use the computer and television for learning, not for games and wasting time. The people out there who watch television and computer technology as a learning mechanism must respond to that. Thank you.

I once went to a family and Neilson was too painful to have to write what was on the small screen every minute of every day for a week. I do not do it again. I know how they do the sampling I always take the ratings with a grain of salt. I know that if I faked a lot of others do the same. Now use your computer to a news source and to pleasure. There are only 5 or 6 watch TV and only when new episodes. That said, you should also know that I work most nights until 10 to even see these programs all the time.
