Europe's Monaco Grand Prix has been voted as the preferred destination for the British as the ultimate sports event to visit.

No sporting event is about to be able to combine all year sophistication and glamor of Monte Carlo with the excitement of a First Annual exciting F1 race on the streets of Monaco. Interest in F1, has declined in recent years in the United Kingdom, and a surprise, perhaps the Monaco Grand Prix has maintained his legendary status.

Part of the fall was the television coverage of the UK by the BBC to ITV, ITV with ads running during the race.

But the most important factor in the loss of interest in F1 in the UK was the marked lack of success in sport for British drivers, with Damon Hill and Nigel Mansell last two Britons regularly winning races and championships.
